Kumquat Cafe is an original acrylic painitng that comes ready to hang in a simple grey frame with a black rabbet.
 
This painting came to being during the Global Pandemic of 2020. The Kumquat reference felt appropriate because of the bitter-sweet nature of that intriquing fruit.  My first bite of a kumquat always feels a bit nasty.  By the third or fourth, I'm ready to eat a whole bowl of them.  I feel a little like that about social isolation. What was jarring at first, slowly became rather pleasant. A great noticing of things normally overlooked started to happen as the days passed.
